The glass vial with closure is a professional packaging material that is suitable for filling various liquid and powdery formulations in cosmetics, pharmacy and aromatherapy. Thanks to the high-quality glass, the bottle is stable, chemically resistant and suitable for the safe storage of products for which protection of the composition, cleanliness and easy handling during dosing are important.
This type of bottle is a practical solution for smaller volumes, test samples, concentrated blends and finished products intended for everyday use. The packaging enables precise dosing by means of a suitably chosen closure or applicator, thereby contributing to the professional appearance and functionality of the final product.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters in the product detail. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

The glass vial is suitable for packaging many types of active and concentrated cosmetic ingredients, such as serums, oil concentrates or toners. However, before filling we always recommend testing the compatibility of the specific formulation with the packaging (especially in the case of very acidic, alkaline or highly concentrated solutions) and monitoring the behaviour of the product during storage.
Yes, the packaging can be reused if hygienic principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly washed, rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable agent, for example with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol of plant origin. Only after the packaging has completely dried is refilling appropriate, in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and impact on product stability.
Before the first filling, we recommend rinsing the bottle with warm water and a mild cleaning agent, thoroughly rinsing it with clean water and allowing it to dry completely. It is then advisable to disinfect the inner space of the packaging by applying alcohol (for example IPA or ethanol), shaking out the excess well and letting it dry again. Packaging prepared in this way is suitable for filling cosmetic or other sensitive formulations.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is appropriate to include it in separate collection according to the material given in the product parameters. Place the glass part of the packaging, once emptied of its contents, in the container designated for glass, and sort any plastic or metal closure separately according to local waste collection rules. Before recycling, we recommend removing product residues to facilitate processing in the recycling process.
