Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly with appropriate handling and without mechanical damage. For repeated use, it is essential to follow basic hygiene principles – before each new filling, thoroughly clean the bottle and the cap and disinfect them. For disinfection we recommend using, for example, isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, which you can find in the offer as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only afterwards is the packaging suitable for refilling.
Before the first filling, we recommend rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning solution or warm water with a mild detergent, rinsing thoroughly with drinking water and allowing it to dry completely. It is then advisable to disinfect the inner surface and the closure with an alcohol solution, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the alcohol has evaporated and complete drying has occurred is the packaging ready for safe filling.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the recommendations given in the product parameters. The glass part of the medicine bottle can generally be handed over to separated glass collection, while the cap and insert should be separated and sorted according to the type of plastic indicated on the parameter label. Before handing over for collection, we recommend removing product residues from the packaging so that recycling is as efficient as possible and in accordance with local waste sorting rules.
For thicker or oily formulations, we recommend filling more slowly and continuously checking how the preparation flows through the pouring insert. In the case of very viscous blends, it may be appropriate to use a wider opening or another type of dosing. Before series filling, always prepare a test sample and verify that the dosing is smooth, without splashing, and that the cap with the insert seals correctly even after prolonged storage.
