Glass bottle – dropper bottle with white cap represents a reliable packaging for liquid and dropwise preparations where dosing accuracy, formulation stability and a professional appearance are important. The high-quality glass is suitable for both cosmetic and technical solutions and, with a properly selected cap, helps to minimise the contact of the contents with air and external impurities. The small bottle is an ideal choice for small to medium product runs, homemade recipes and pilot batches of products.
The standalone glass dropper bottle is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the parameters selected directly on the product page. You can combine it with screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators to tailor the dosing precisely to the character of your product.
The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – verifying sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oil or water base, etc.).
All technical parameters of the packaging are stated in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed, especially for in-house cosmetic production or when refilling the same type of product. Before each new filling, however, the packaging needs to be thoroughly cleaned, the mechanical wear of the cap checked and then disinfected with a suitable preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection we recommend the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based.
Before refilling, we recommend rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning agent or with warm water and detergent, then rinsing it thoroughly with clean water and allowing it to dry completely. After drying, it is advisable to disinfect the inner surface and the neck of the packaging with alcohol (e.g. IPA or ethanol) and allow all residues to evaporate. When changing the type of product (for example from an oil base to a water base), it is important to pay even more attention to cleaning to prevent any impact on the stability of the new formulation.
You select a compatible cap or dosing element according to the neck parameter indicated in the product details. On the page, only those closures, droppers or spray pumps are displayed with the bottle that have been verified for the given neck type and are commonly used. For specific formulations (high alcohol content, distinctly oily or very viscous emulsions), we always recommend carrying out your own test – filling a smaller volume of product, checking the tightness of the joint and the longer-term behaviour of the packaging during storage.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, its recycling according to the material stated in the product parameters is recommended. The glass container should be emptied, any remaining contents removed and placed in a container intended for sorted glass collection. The plastic or composite cap is usually sorted separately according to the type of plastic indicated on the packaging marking or in the technical parameters. Before disposal it is ideal to at least roughly rinse the bottle to minimise product residues in the waste stream.
For convenient selection you can use the advanced filter, which you can find at the top of the page after clicking on the selected packaging category. With the filter, you can quickly narrow the range according to several parameters – in particular neck type, packaging size, colour and material. In this way you can find bottles, dropper bottles, jars or other containers that are best suited to the consistency, method of application and overall visual solution of your product.
Yes, glass dropper bottles are very practical for the development and testing of new formulations because they allow convenient labelling of individual samples and their safe storage and transport. Thanks to the transparent material, you can easily visually check any sedimentation, colour change or change in clarity and, with a properly selected closure, you can also monitor any losses caused by evaporation or leakage. For stability testing and comparing different formulation versions, such small containers are particularly useful.
