Dark brown glass jar 100 ml with white lid represents a professional packaging solution for cosmetic preparations as well as artisan formulations, where protection of the contents and a representative appearance are important. The dark glass helps protect sensitive components from light, thereby supporting the stability of products containing oils, extracts and active ingredients. In combination with a functional lid, it creates a practical container suitable for creams, butters, balms or other semi-solid products that require hygienic and safe packaging.
Yes, the jar can be used repeatedly with careful handling, provided that basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the container must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol, for example isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol. This minimises the risk of microbial contamination of the new product.
First mechanically remove the residues of the original product, then wash the jar with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent. After thoroughly rinsing, let the glass dry completely and only then disinfect it with alcohol (e.g. IPA 99 % or ethanol 96 %). Before filling, make sure that no residues of water or cleaning agent remain in the container or in the lid.
The jar is very well suited for thicker and semi-solid preparations that are taken out with fingers or a spatula. These include in particular facial and body creams, butters, lip balms, protective balms for dry areas, emollient ointments, scrubs or masks. The dark glass also supports the stability of formulations containing vegetable oils, butters and essential oils, which are more sensitive to light.
If you decide not to use the jar any further, it is recommended to recycle it according to the material composition specified in the product parameters. The glass itself, after removing product residues and separating the lid, belongs in the container intended for glass waste. Dispose of the lid according to the material type specified for the product – it is advisable to sort each part into the appropriate separate collection stream in order to maximise the recycling rate of the packaging.
To make it easier to choose the packaging, you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. In the filter you can select a combination of parameters such as neck type, size, colour or material, and thus quickly narrow down the range to the packaging that best matches the specific product and dosing method.
