Is it possible to use this glass jar repeatedly?

Yes, the jar can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the container must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable preparation, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and spoilage of the contents.

For which types of products is this jar most suitable?

This jar is especially ideal for creams, balms, ointments, rich butters, solid perfumes and smaller amounts of gel or emulsion preparations. Thanks to the dark glass, it is also suitable for formulations with light-sensitive active substances, where protection against light during storage is important.

How should I properly clean and prepare the jar before filling it with a new product?

Before reuse, we recommend first removing the residues of the original contents, washing the jar with a suitable cleaning agent and rinsing thoroughly. After drying, the inner surface and the lid must be disinfected, for example using the preparations IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the complete evaporation of the disinfectant is the jar ready for new filling.

How should I correctly dispose of or recycle this glass packaging if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to use the jar repeatedly, we recommend recycling it according to the material composition given in the product parameters. The glass container can generally, after being cleaned of residual contents, be placed in a container intended for glass, and the closure must be sorted according to its material (plastic or other material), if possible. Before disposal, remove residues of the product as well as any labels so that the recycling process is as effective as possible.
