Glass bottle – medicine bottle represents a professional packaging suitable for a wide range of cosmetic and galenic preparations. The durable glass is stable against commonly used components in cosmetics and water- or oil-based formulations, making it ideal for packaging liquid and low-viscosity products. Thanks to the precise neck, the bottle is suitable for accurate dosing using compatible closures, droppers or spray heads and helps maintain consistent quality of the contents throughout the entire period of use.
The standalone glass bottle is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the selected parameters in the product detail. You can combine it with screw caps, droppers, spray heads or practical applicators, thus easily adapting the dosing method to the specific product.
The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – in particular sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation, in order to ensure the optimal performance of the product in real operation.

Yes, the glass bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the packaging, rinse it and then disinfect it with a suitable agent, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 %. Only after complete drying and airing can you refill the bottle again in order to minimize the risk of microbial contamination and undesirable reactions with the contents.
Before first use, we recommend rinsing the bottle with warm water and a mild cleaning agent, rinsing thoroughly with drinking water and allowing it to dry. It is then advisable to disinfect the inner part with an alcoholic solution – for example using IPA 99 % or Ethanol 96 %. After disinfection, let the packaging dry completely at room temperature, preferably upside down on a clean absorbent pad, so that no liquid residues remain in it.
The choice of closure depends on the nature of the product and the desired method of application. For liquid serums and oils, droppers or pipette closures are suitable, for toners and aqueous solutions spray heads, and for simple liquid preparations classic screw caps. In the product detail you can, using the filter and recommended combinations, choose from closures and dispensers that are compatible with the given neck type. However, before practical use we always recommend performing a leakage and dosing test with your specific formulation.
If you decide not to use the bottle further, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the material type indicated in the parameter table for the product. The glass parts, after being emptied and basically rinsed, belong in the container designated for glass. Plastic or metal closures should be separated and sorted into the appropriate collection bins according to their material. Always follow local waste sorting rules and the information from the product’s parameter data in order to make recycling as effective as possible.
