It is then appropriate to disinfect the internal surfaces using a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol. For this purpose, you will find in our range the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based, which are suitable for hygienic preparation of packaging before filling.
Yes, the glass pharmaceutical bottle and the dispenser can be reused provided that hygienic principles are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging needs to be thoroughly cleaned, the glass part washed with a suitable cleaning agent, rinsed well and left to dry. We then recommend disinfecting the internal surfaces and the dispensing mechanism using an alcohol solution, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or 96 % denatured plant-based ethanol. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and extends the safe usability of the product.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly in accordance with local waste-sorting rules. The glass part of the bottle should, after emptying and basic rinsing, be placed in the container designated for glass. The plastic dispenser and any other plastic components belong in the container for plastic, unless local rules state otherwise. Before disposal, it is practical to separate glass from plastics in order to facilitate sorting and further processing of the materials.
