The Boston glass dropper bottle with plastic dropper is a universal packaging solution suitable for precise dosing of liquid preparations in cosmetics as well as in the field of home formulations. Thanks to the combination of high-quality glass and a practical dropper, the bottle is ideal for products where controlled, drop-by-drop application and reliable protection of the contents from external influences are important.
This type of packaging is popular for filling serums, oil blends, tinctures or concentrated extracts, where higher chemical resistance, material stability and secure closure are required. The glass bottle combined with the dropper helps to minimize the contact of the contents with air and at the same time facilitates hygienic, targeted dosing.
This glass bottle is supplied with a plastic closure and dropper and conceptually belongs among packaging types that are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems adapted to the specific neck finish. Depending on the selected parameters, it can be combined, for example, with screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators.
The packaging–closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test – checking sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation, especially for products with a higher content of alcohol, acids or active substances.

Yes, the bottle is also suitable for oil-based and slightly viscous preparations, as long as they can be dosed drop by drop. The dropper allows for precise and controlled dosing, making it suitable for facial and body oils, concentrated serums or oil-based extracts. For very thick or gel-like products, we recommend testing the flow and, if necessary, choosing another type of closure or dispenser.
The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and closure must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol solution, for example using the products IPA 99 – isopropyl alkohol (/ipa-99-isopropyl-alkohol-1-l/ target="_blank") or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný (/etanol-96-denaturovany-rastlinny-1-l/ target="_blank"). Only after the alcohol has completely dried and evaporated is the packaging ready for refilling. For repeated use, we recommend regularly checking the condition of the dropper and the seal.
When filling, we recommend working in the cleanest possible environment, using clean funnels or dosing tools and avoiding direct contact of the outlet with hands or other contaminated surfaces. The packaging and closure should be cleaned and disinfected with alcohol before filling and then completely dried. After filling, close the bottle without leaving the neck opening exposed for a long time, in order to limit contact with dust and ambient humidity.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is advisable to recycle it according to the recommendations given in the product specifications and in accordance with local waste sorting rules. The glass bottle can usually be placed, after emptying and basic rinsing, into a container intended for glass; the plastic closure and dropper should be sorted according to the type of plastic indicated for the product. Before handing over for recycling, it is advisable to remove residual contents and labels, where the material allows this, in order to facilitate the recycling process.

We recommend storing the bottle in a dry, clean and stable place, away from direct sunlight and significant temperature fluctuations. Avoid impacts and mechanical stress to prevent damage to the glass or closure. For product batches, it is advisable to mark the packaging with the batch number and filling date so that you can keep track of product stability and shelf life.
