Glass dropper bottle is a professional packaging solution designed for precise dosing of liquid preparations in cosmetics as well as in laboratory and artisan production. High-quality glass combined with a functional dropper enables safe and controlled filling of liquid formulations that require hygienic, repeatable drop-by-drop dosing.
The dark glass of the bottle also helps protect sensitive ingredients from unwanted light, thereby contributing to the stability and longer shelf life of the contents. Thanks to this, the bottle is suitable for products with increased requirements for protection against oxidation and degradation of active substances. The precise dropper ensures comfortable application without waste and without unnecessary contamination of the contents.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, atomisers or practical applicators), depending on the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the packaging can be reused provided that hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and dropper must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol intended for disinfecting packaging. For disinfection you can use, for example, the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured vegetable. Only after thorough drying is the packaging ready for reuse.
Before the first filling, we recommend mechanically rinsing the glass container first to remove any dust particles from production and logistics. Then disinfect the packaging with a suitable alcohol (for example using IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or 96% ethanol of vegetable origin). After disinfection, allow the bottle and the dropper components to dry completely at room temperature and only then fill with the final product.
The dropper bottle is ideal for all formulations where precise drop-by-drop dosing is important. In practice, it is most often used for facial and eye serums, concentrated oil blends, active solutions with a high content of active substances, aromatherapy preparations and test samples. Thanks to the dark glass, it is also suitable for light-sensitive formulas that require additional protection against degradation.
When selecting packaging, we recommend considering the viscosity of the product, the desired method of application and the target user. For thin liquids and concentrated solutions, droppers are suitable; for toners and watery products, atomisers are appropriate; while for more viscous oils or serums, precise applicators work well. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly in the Handymade range are tested for functionality. Nevertheless, it is always important to perform your own stress- and compatibility test with the specific formula, especially for long-term storage.
To select the right packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter in the packaging categories. After clicking on the relevant category, the advanced filter is located at the top of the page and allows you to quickly and clearly filter products by neck type, size, colour and material. This allows you to adapt your choice of packaging exactly to the needs of your formulation, your brand design and the desired dosing method.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material specified in the product parameters. After emptying and basic cleaning, the glass bottle should be sorted into the container designated for glass. The dropper and other components with plastic parts need to be separated and sorted according to material type in accordance with local waste sorting rules. By doing so, you support sustainable management of packaging materials and reduce the amount of unnecessary waste.
