Glass bottle – pharmaceutical dropper bottle with black and gold dropper represents a professional packaging for precise dosing of liquid preparations in cosmetics as well as in artisan production. Thanks to the combination of glass and dropper, it is suitable for filling products for which it is important to control the amount during application and to protect sensitive components from external influences.
This type of dropper bottle is ideal for formulations that require comfortable drop-by-drop application, clean dosing without unnecessary waste, and an aesthetic presentation of the finished product. The dark glass also contributes to reducing the access of light to the contents, which helps protect light-sensitive components.
The glass bottle is suitable for most common cosmetic and artisan formulations, including oils and concentrates, because glass is a chemically stable material with low interactivity with the contents. However, for very specific or highly concentrated active ingredients, we recommend carrying out your own stability test and monitoring the behaviour of the product in the packaging over time.
The packaging can be reused provided that hygienic principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and dropper must be thoroughly cleaned, any residues of the original product rinsed out, and the packaging subsequently disinfected. For disinfection, we recommend using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, for example the products IPA 99 – isopropyl alkohol (ALK001) and Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný (ALK002), available at /ipa-99-isopropyl-alkohol-1-l/ and /etanol-96-denaturovany-rastlinny-1-l/. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely on a clean surface.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the recommendations given in the parameter table for the respective product on Handymade.sk. The glass part of the bottle, after emptying and basic rinsing, is usually placed in the container designated for glass, while the plastic or composite parts of the dropper (plastic, metal, rubber) must be sorted according to the stated material composition. By following the recommended sorting, you contribute to the efficient recycling of the packaging material.
The dropper is ideal for low- to medium-viscosity liquids that can be dosed drop by drop – typically facial and body oils, serums, active solutions, tinctures or aromatherapeutic blends. For very thick preparations, dripping may be slower; therefore, for a new formulation we always recommend testing the dosing and, if necessary, choosing another type of closure or applicator available in the packaging range.
Yes, the smaller glass bottle is also suitable for carrying a smaller amount of product, for example as a travel-size packaging or tester. When travelling, it is important to ensure that the dropper is tightly closed, place the packaging in an upright position and, to be on the safe side, put it in a resealable bag or protective case to minimise the risk of leakage or glass breakage during transport.
