The glass dropper bottle with a black-and-gold spray pump represents an elegant and functional packaging for modern cosmetics and natural formulations, where precise and gentle application is important. Thanks to the high-quality glass and the integrated spray pump, it is suitable for filling various liquid products where even application or creating a fine mist on the skin or hair matters. The dark execution of the glass at the same time helps protect more sensitive formulas from unwanted light, thereby contributing to the stability and longer shelf life of the contents.
This product represents a combination of bottle and spray pump that is assembled and designed for practical, immediate use. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) in order to verify the optimal functionality for your specific product.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Glass as a material is generally very stable and tolerates formulations containing alcohol or essential oils well. With this type of dropper bottle it is, however, always necessary to test the specific recipe, especially in terms of long-term compatibility with the spray mechanism (seals, dip tube, spring). We recommend producing a small trial batch and monitoring the behaviour of the product in the packaging over several days to weeks.
The packaging can be reused provided that proper hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and spray pump must be thoroughly cleaned, residues of the original product removed, and then the entire packaging disinfected with a suitable alcohol solution. For disinfection we recommend using the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. After cleaning and disinfection, allow all parts of the packaging to dry thoroughly at room temperature and only then refill the packaging.
The most reliable procedure is to fill a smaller amount of the final or almost final recipe into one dropper bottle and test the dosing several times. Observe whether the spray pump creates an even mist, whether it does not clog, does not leak around the neck area, and whether changes in the operation of the mechanism do not occur over time. It is recommended to test the product at room temperature as well as under normal transport conditions (shaking, temperature change) in order to verify the tightness of the packaging.
To select a suitable bottle, dropper bottle or other packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the selected packaging category. In the advanced filter you can easily combine several parameters at once – select a specific neck finish, size, colour and material of the packaging. In this way you will quickly narrow down the range to packaging that is suitable for your product type and corresponds to the desired design or technical requirements.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material composition given in the product parameters. The glass part of the dropper bottle can usually be freed from any remaining contents and placed in a container intended for sorted glass collection. The spray pump is made up of a combination of plastic and metal components which, depending on local collection rules, should be handed over for plastic collection or taken to a collection yard. Before recycling, always check the recommendations of your municipality or city so that you place the packaging into the correct waste category.
