However, with every refilling it is essential to observe basic hygiene rules – first clean the bottle and cap thoroughly and then disinfect them with a suitable alcohol solution (for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based). Only after the packaging is completely dry and aired out is it appropriate to proceed with the new filling.

Before reuse, it is advisable to remove residues of the original product by rinsing with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent and to rinse the bottle thoroughly so that no foam residues remain. We then recommend disinfecting the inner and outer surfaces of the packaging and the cap with an alcohol-based disinfectant, such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow the packaging to dry naturally in a clean place and only then refill it.

If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it, after emptying and basic cleaning, according to the material type specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle usually belongs in containers designated for glass collection, while the plastic cap is usually sorted into the corresponding plastic fraction, unless otherwise specified in the local sorting rules. Before placing it in the container, it is advisable to remove any product residues and close the packaging or separate the individual parts according to the instructions of your collection system.
