The glass vial with aluminium cap represents a professional packaging solution suitable for safely packing both liquid and slightly viscous products. High-quality glass in combination with a precisely fitting closure helps protect the contents from external influences and supports longer stability of the composition. Thanks to its practical shape, the bottle is easy to fill, store and dispense, and is ideal for smaller batches or trial packs.
Yes, the glass vial can be used repeatedly, provided that hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging needs to be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow the bottle and cap to dry completely and only then refill it.
Before first use, we recommend mechanically rinsing the bottle, removing any dust particles and then disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol. You can use, for example, IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After treatment, allow the packaging and cap to air out thoroughly and dry at room temperature so that moisture does not accumulate inside.
When choosing, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you can find at the top of the page after clicking on the selected packaging category. With it, you can conveniently filter packaging by neck type, size, colour and material. In this way, you can quickly select a bottle, vial, jar or other container that will correspond to your formulation and the desired mode of application.
The glass vial is generally a very stable and inert packaging that is also suitable for formulations with a higher proportion of aromatic oils, extracts or active ingredients. Nevertheless, we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – filling a smaller trial volume, observing the behaviour of the mixture over time and checking whether there are any changes in colour, odour or viscosity when in contact with the packaging and closure.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material type specified in the product parameters. The glass part can usually be placed into the container designated for glass after removing any remaining contents and separating the closure. The aluminium cap needs to be sorted into the appropriate fraction for metal packaging, if this is supported by your collection system. Before disposal, we recommend emptying the packaging and, if necessary, rinsing it so as to minimise product residues in the waste.
We recommend storing filled vials in a dry, clean environment, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Avoid large temperature fluctuations, which can affect both the stability of the contents and the properties of the closure. If you work with more sensitive formulations, ensure that the bottles are always carefully closed and that the thread or the sealing in the cap is not damaged during handling.
