The glass medicine bottle with white-silver spray pump represents an elegant and professional packaging suitable for filling a wide range of liquid cosmetic preparations and fine solutions. The fine spray pump enables precise and even dosing, which makes the bottle ideal for products where hygienic and comfortable application is important. Glass is a stable and long-term proven packaging material that helps protect the quality of formulations and at the same time looks aesthetic in both professional and hobby projects.
This packaging is supplied as a combination of a glass container and a spray pump, which guarantees immediate readiness for use without the need to purchase additional components. The packaging and closure combinations that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – especially in terms of sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oil components, etc.).

The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygienic principles are observed, especially within your own production or for test series. Before each new filling it is necessary to thoroughly clean and disinfect both the bottle and the spray pump, ideally using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, for example the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After disinfection, let all parts dry completely in order to ensure the highest possible level of hygiene and stability of the final product.
This type of bottle with a fine spray pump is most suitable for liquid preparations with low to medium viscosity, such as facial and body sprays, hydrolates, toners, hair tonics, perfume compositions and air fresheners. Thick emulsions or gels may not be compatible with the spray pump, therefore we always recommend carrying out a trial filling and a dosing test before mass production.
Before reuse we recommend first mechanically cleaning the packaging (rinsing with warm water and a suitable detergent), rinsing thoroughly and allowing it to dry. Then disinfect the surfaces and the inner space using an alcoholic solution, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. It is advisable to “pump through” the spray pump several times with a small amount of the disinfectant solution and then let it dry completely. Fill a new product only after it is completely dry.
Before recycling it is advisable to empty the packaging as much as possible and, if possible, rinse out any product residues. The glass part of the medicine bottle is sorted in the standard way into containers intended for glass according to local waste sorting rules. The spray pump and any plastic components must be separated from the bottle and sorted according to the type of plastic stated in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade website. If you are not sure, follow the recommendations of your municipality or collection company. As far as the local system allows, it is always appropriate to prioritise recycling over regular municipal waste.
