However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation). When filling with new contents, pay particular attention to the viscosity of the product, the uniformity of dosing and the reliability of closing, so that the packaging meets the specific use in practice.

FAQ – Most frequently asked questions

Is this bottle suitable for repeated use?

The bottle can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the packaging and then disinfect it with a suitable alcoholic preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Disinfection helps to minimize the risk of microbial contamination and supports the stability of your cosmetic or work formulations.

How should I properly clean the dispenser so that its functionality is not reduced?

We recommend first rinsing the dispenser, after the contents have been used up, with a suitable cleaning medium (for example warm water with a mild detergent, if this is allowed by the formulation you have been using) and then rinsing with clean water. After drying, the internal parts can be disinfected by pumping a small amount of disinfecting alcohol through the dosing mechanism. Do not use aggressive solvents or high temperatures that could damage the seals or plastic components.

In this way you will support efficient material recycling and reduce the amount of waste.

Is this medicine bottle also suitable for thicker or oily products?

The bottle with dispenser is generally suitable for various types of liquid and slightly viscous products, including many oily or emulsion formulations. Before putting it into practice, we recommend carrying out a trial filling with a smaller amount of product to check the smoothness of dosing, the back suction and the sealing. In this way you can verify whether the specific type of formulation (for example thicker oils or emulsions) is suitable for the selected dosing mechanism.
