Plastic bottle – pharmaceutical bottle with dosing pump represents a practical and reliable packaging solution for a wide range of liquid cosmetic preparations and other formulations. Thanks to the combination of a high‑quality plastic body and a functional pump, it allows for comfortable, more precise and hygienic dispensing without unnecessary contact of the contents with the external environment. This type of packaging is popular for products that require repeated application in smaller amounts and controlled delivery.
The packaging is particularly suitable for filling liquid emulsions, serums, gels, facial and body care preparations and other products where protection of the composition against contamination and minimisation of contact with oxygen and impurities is important. The practical pump helps reduce the risk of spillage or wastage and supports consistent consumption of the packaged product. Thanks to the darker design of the packaging, it is especially suitable for formulations that are more sensitive to light and require better storage conditions.
This bottle with plastic pump is presented on Handymade as a complete and functional combination of packaging and dosing component, ready for direct use with the respective formulation. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if handled appropriately and not damaged, but it is always necessary to observe basic hygiene principles. Before each refilling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and the pump and disinfecting them with a suitable disinfectant, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured, plant‑based. Only after drying and visual cleanliness check is the packaging ready to be refilled.
First, we recommend mechanically removing residues of the original product and rinsing the packaging with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent. Subsequently, it is advisable to apply disinfection – for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol of plant origin. After treatment with the disinfectant, allow the packaging to dry thoroughly at room temperature. For the pump, we recommend “pumping through” the disinfectant solution several times so that the internal dosing path is also flushed.
Plastic packaging of this type is not intended to be exposed to high temperatures, so we do not recommend washing it in a dishwasher or boiling it. Excessive thermal stress may cause deformation of the bottle walls, deterioration of sealing or damage to the pump. For cleaning, it is more appropriate to use lukewarm water, a mild cleaning agent and subsequent disinfection with an alcohol‑based product as needed.
Before discarding the packaging, we recommend removing as much as possible of the residues of the original product. The plastic bottle body itself and the plastic pump are disposed of according to the type of material used, as stated in the parameter table on the product page on Handymade. After identifying the material, you assign the packaging to the appropriate sorted waste stream according to local collection rules (for example, plastic packaging to the yellow bin, if the collection system in your area allows it). In the case of composite materials, it is advisable to separate the individual parts (e.g. bottle and pump) and sort them separately according to the recommendations of your collection system.
The simplest way is to use the advanced filter in the relevant packaging category. After clicking on a category (for example bottles, pharmaceutical bottles or cosmetic packaging), you will find the filter at the top of the page. You can set the desired packaging parameters there – neck type, size, colour and material. By combining several filters, you can quickly narrow the offer down to only those packaging solutions that best match the properties of your product and the intended method of use.
