Can this plastic bottle be reused?

Yes, the bottle can be reused if hygiene principles are observed, especially for your own home or craft production. Before each new filling, however, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and extends the safe usability of your product.

How should I properly clean and disinfect this plastic bottle before the next filling?

Before reuse, we recommend first rinsing the bottle and the closure with lukewarm water and a suitable cleaning agent, rinsing thoroughly with clean water and allowing to dry. Then spray or rinse the inner walls and neck of the packaging with disinfecting alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. After the alcohol has evaporated and the bottle is completely dry, the packaging is ready for new filling. Make sure that your working tools and environment are as clean as possible throughout the entire process.

How can I safely dispose of and recycle this plastic packaging if I no longer want to reuse it?

If you decide not to use the bottle any further, we recommend recycling it according to the material type indicated in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade website.
