FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Can this bottle be used repeatedly?

Yes, this packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example with isopropyl alcohol IPA 99% or with denatured ethanol 96% of plant origin. Carry out the disinfection in such a way that residues of the previous product as well as any microorganisms are removed, and let the packaging dry completely before refilling.

How should I safely clean and disinfect the bottle before further use?

First we recommend mechanically removing residues of the original product and rinsing the bottle with warm water and a mild cleaning agent that is suitable for the given type of material. After rinsing with clean water, apply a disinfectant – for example IPA 99% or denatured ethanol 96% – and let it act as required. Then let the packaging dry naturally at room temperature so that no residues of water or disinfectant remain that could affect the new formulation.

How should I properly recycle this plastic packaging if I do not want to use it further?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend, after emptying and basic rinsing, placing it in sorted waste according to the type of plastic material specified in the product parameters. Before placing it in the collection container, it is advisable to separate the bottle and the cap, and any other plastic or metal parts if present. Always follow local recycling rules and the material pictogram indicated with the product so that the packaging is processed in the correct recycling stream.

Is this bottle suitable for thicker emulsions or rather for more liquid products?

The bottle is designed primarily for more liquid products such as tonics, hair tonics or lighter emulsions. Suitability for thicker formulations depends mainly on the selected closure or dispenser – for example, when using a pump or a wider opening, it may also be suitable for medium-viscosity lotions and gels. Before including it in your offer, we recommend testing how the specific formula is dispensed and whether it suits you and your customers.
