This airless bottle is intended primarily for more liquid creams, serums, emulsions and gels that the pump can dispense without any problems. For very thick products, we recommend first performing a trial filling in a smaller quantity in order to check smooth dosing and complete emptying of the container. If necessary, it is advisable to slightly adjust the viscosity of the formula (for example by adding a small amount of hydrolate or a light oil) so that the consistency remains comfortable for dosing.

When filling the airless bottle, we recommend pouring the product slowly and smoothly, without creating bubbles, up to approximately the lower edge of the neck of the inner container. After filling, firmly attach the upper part with the pump and make sure that it is correctly clicked into place or closed according to the packaging construction. Before first use, it is necessary to press the pump several times so that the system “primes” and starts dosing. If there is a lot of air in the container or a very thick formulation, it may be necessary to press the pump for a little longer.

The airless bottle can, if hygienic principles are followed, be reused for further batches of the same or a similar product. Before each new filling, however, it is essential to clean the packaging thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol-based disinfectant, for example with the products IPA 99 % or plant ethanol available on Handymade.sk: IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Allow the disinfectant to act, then squeeze out the excess and let the packaging dry completely at room temperature. Repeated use is recommended only if the packaging is mechanically undamaged and the pump functions correctly.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend, after the contents have been used up, sorting it correctly according to the material specified in the parameter table for the product on Handymade.sk. Before recycling, it is advisable to empty the bottle as much as possible and remove any product residues. Depending on the construction, it may be possible to separate the plastic parts (body, base, pump) and place them in the appropriate collection containers for plastics. If you are not sure about the exact type of plastic, follow the material symbol and the local waste separation rules in your municipality. In this way, you will support an environmentally friendly approach and reduce the amount of mixed waste.
