The clear milky glass bottle is a universal container suitable for packaging various liquid and slightly viscous preparations where cleanliness, stability and professional product presentation are important. The milky, semi-transparent glass has an aesthetic effect, allows control of the contents and at the same time helps to visually unify product collections in cosmetic and artisan ranges. Thanks to high-quality workmanship, this bottle is ideal for formulations that require reliable closure and consistent dispensing.
The glass bottle is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems, allowing you to adapt the method of application to the specific product and target group. When choosing suitable accessories, base your choice on the parameters given for the product.
All packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the container in contact with the specific formulation), especially for new or highly concentrated recipes.
All technical parameters of the container are given in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The glass bottle is suitable for oil-based, slightly viscous and water-based formulations, with the resulting user comfort depending mainly on the chosen type of closure and dispenser. For oils and serums we recommend combining with a dropper or precise dispenser, while lighter toners and waters usually use sprayers or classic screw caps. Before launching the finished product, we recommend testing dosing and backflow with the specific recipe.
The glass container can be reused if hygiene principles are observed, whether for the same or a different type of product. However, before each new filling it is essential to thoroughly clean the bottle and then disinfect it, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured vegetable. Thorough hygiene reduces the risk of microbial contamination and helps maintain the stability and sensory quality of the finished product.
If you decide not to use the bottle any further, we recommend first emptying it and removing any remaining product. Then dispose of the container in accordance with the recycling rules given for the product in the parameter table on the Handymade website. Glass containers are usually sorted into the container designated for glass, while caps or dispensers may belong to another fraction depending on the material. Always follow the local waste-sorting system and the manufacturer’s recommendation stated for the specific product.
Reliable sealing depends on the correct combination of bottle and closure, accurate screwing-on and the suitability of materials for the specific recipe. During product development we recommend carrying out in-house tests in which you verify: whether the closure fits well after screwing on, whether any leakage occurs when the bottle is turned upside down, and whether long-term contact with the formulation does not compromise the seal or internal parts of the dispenser. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional, but for new or specific recipes it is important to perform an internal compatibility test.
To select suitable packaging you can use the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging category. In the filter you can conveniently narrow down the range according to parameters such as neck type, size, colour and material. This allows you to quickly find bottles, jars, pots or medicine bottles that match your formulation and the visual concept of your brand, while at the same time ensuring that you are working with compatible packaging components.
