Glass bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters in the offer. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test – check the sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation to ensure long-term stability and safety of the product.

Yes, the glass bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. However, before each new filling it is necessary to thoroughly clean the packaging and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and undesirable changes in the consistency or scent of the product.
Before reuse we recommend first rinsing the bottle with a residual medium compatible with the original contents (for example a plant oil for oil-based products), then washing it in warm water with a suitable cleaning agent, rinsing thoroughly and allowing it to dry completely. After drying, the inner surfaces and the neck must be disinfected with alcohol, for example using the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based, and only then should the bottle be refilled.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, its recycling in accordance with local waste-sorting rules is recommended. Glass packaging is usually intended to be placed in the glass container (according to the local colour code for clear glass). Before disposal remove any product residues and, if possible, separate the cap or dispenser, which belongs in the appropriate container according to its material (plastics, metal, etc.). Specific recycling recommendations are always based on the material information given in the product parameters.
