Glass bottle with a milky transparent body and black cap with safety lock represents a universal and aesthetic packaging for various types of liquid and semi-liquid preparations. High-quality glass is a stable and inert material which, when used correctly, does not undergo interactions with the contents, which is ideal for cosmetic formulations, serums, essences or laboratory solutions. The practical cap with safety lock helps protect the contents against unwanted opening and at the same time increases safety during storage and transport.
This glass bottle is designed to be compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the selected parameters in the Handymade.sk offer. Depending on the specific application, the packaging can be combined with screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators, which enable more precise and more comfortable dosing of your formulation.
The combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – in particular, to check sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oily/watery base, etc.).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the glass bottle can be used repeatedly if the correct hygienic principles are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and subsequently disinfected with a suitable disinfectant, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose, you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. Only after it has completely dried is the bottle ready for further safe use.
Before first use, we recommend rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning agent, rinsing it with drinking water and then disinfecting it with alcohol (for example the products IPA 99 % or Etanol 96 % from the Handymade.sk offer). After disinfection, let the packaging dry naturally in a clean environment. It is advisable to follow the same procedure between individual fillings, especially if you are changing the type of product (for example from a water base to an oil base or vice versa).
If you decide not to use the bottle any further, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste sorting rules, based on the information given in the parameter table for the product. The glass parts of the packaging are usually placed in the container designated for glass, while plastic or metal components of the closure should be separated and sorted according to the material symbols. Before placing it in sorted waste, it is advisable to empty the bottle and remove any remaining contents in order to facilitate the recycling process.
The glass bottle is excellent for packaging facial serums, oil elixirs, active concentrates, light emulsions and various aromatherapeutic or test blends. Thanks to the inert character of glass, it is particularly suitable for more sensitive formulations where it is important to minimize contact with plastic and to ensure the stability of active substances throughout the entire declared period of use.
To select a suitable bottle, vial or jar, we recommend using the extended filter in the packaging material categories. The extended filter is located at the top of the page after clicking on the selected category, where you can clearly set parameters such as neck type and diameter, size, colour or packaging material. This allows you to quickly find the combination of bottle and closure that will best suit your specific product and method of dosing.
The cap with safety lock is designed to reduce the risk of unwanted opening during normal handling and transport. In practice this means that it is also suitable for packaging finished products that you plan to offer to customers. Before introducing it into sale, however, we recommend carrying out your own test – checking the tightness of the closure in various positions, verifying the behaviour of the packaging during transport and longer-term storage, and making sure that the chosen formulation is fully compatible with the chosen type of closure.
