The glass bottle with safety cap is a practical and aesthetic packaging suitable for a wide range of liquid and less viscous preparations. The transparent glass allows easy visual control of the contents, their colour and clarity, which you will appreciate for cosmetics, extracts and homemade blends. The white cap with safety lock helps protect the contents from accidental opening, facilitates handling and increases safety during storage and transport.
Thanks to the high-quality glass, this bottle is suitable for carefully prepared formulations where cleanliness, chemical resistance and the stability of the packaging against commonly used components are important. The glass vial is ideal for smaller doses of products, test samples or concentrated blends that require precise dosing and reliable closure.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The glass vial is also suitable for preparations with a higher proportion of active ingredients, provided these are normally compatible with glass. Before final implementation we recommend producing a trial batch and verifying the stability of the product during storage, especially when using acidic or highly alkaline components, or high concentrations of solvents.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if strict hygiene rules are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned, any residues of the original product removed, and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. Repeated use is recommended only in cases where you have the cleaning process under control and the packaging is not mechanically damaged.
First, rinse the bottle mechanically with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent so that all visible product residues are removed. Then rinse it thoroughly with clean water and allow it to dry completely. Before new filling, the packaging must be disinfected – rinse the inner surface and the neck with alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based, allow the residual alcohol to evaporate, and only then fill the new product.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to local waste-sorting rules and the information given in the product parameters. Glass parts can usually be placed in the container designated for glass after you remove any remaining contents. The plastic or combined cap is sorted according to the material type indicated in the parameter table. Before placing the bottle in sorted waste, it is advisable to rinse it to minimise product residues.
When selecting a suitable bottle or other packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. In the advanced filter you can sort the packaging according to several parameters, for example by neck type, size, colour or material. By combining filters you can quickly narrow the offer down to packaging that meets your requirements for design and technical properties.
The safety cap is designed to reduce the risk of accidental opening during normal handling. Before carrying, make sure that the cap is tightly screwed on and that the bottle is stored in an upright position. For very liquid or volatile products, we recommend carrying out your own sealing test and using a protective case or a separate pouch during transport in order to minimise the risk of contaminating other items.
