The glass bottle with dropper represents a practical and aesthetic packaging solution for targeted dosing of liquid preparations, especially where precise, drop-by-drop application is important. Thanks to its high-quality workmanship and reliable closure with dropper, it is suitable for filling various cosmetic formulations, concentrated blends and homemade recipes. The smooth glass surface allows for easy labelling and branding, making the packaging suitable for smaller artisanal batches as well as professional products.
The glass pharmaceutical bottle is designed to protect the contents from external influences while at the same time making handling easier in everyday use. The dropper ensures convenient dosing without unnecessary material loss, which you will appreciate for oils, serums, extracts and other valuable raw materials. This type of packaging is popular among natural cosmetic makers, aromatherapists and small-scale producers of cosmetic and supplementary products.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean and disinfect the packaging, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example isopropyl alcohol or 96% denatured plant-based ethanol. After cleaning, allow the bottle to dry completely and only then refill it with the new product.
First, rinse the bottle with a suitable cleaning solution or with warm water and a mild detergent, or with a vegetable oil in case of very greasy residues. We then recommend using an alcohol-based disinfectant, for example isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol, with which you rinse the inside of the packaging and the dropper. After disinfection, allow all parts of the packaging to air dry at room temperature so that no residual moisture remains that could affect the stability of the subsequent formulation.
The glass pharmaceutical bottle is suitable for most oil-based and oil–ethanol formulations, including products containing a proportion of essential oils. Glass is generally stable and non-absorptive towards them, so there is no undesirable impact on the formulation. Nevertheless, we always recommend making a trial batch and monitoring the behaviour of the blend in the packaging over several days to weeks to verify the compatibility of the specific formulation with the packaging and the dropper.
The smooth glass surface allows the use of self-adhesive labels, sticker tags or PVC shrink bands. When choosing labels, we recommend using materials resistant to oils and moisture so that they do not peel off during regular handling. Before applying the label, the surface of the bottle should be clean and degreased, which will improve the adhesion of the glue and extend the lifespan of the labelling even with frequent product use.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging any longer, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the types of materials used as stated in the product parameters. The glass part can usually be placed in a glass container after removing residue and labels. The plastic or rubber parts of the closure and dropper should be sorted according to the corresponding type of plastic, or handed over within the local waste collection system. By following the recommendations for waste separation, you contribute to effective recycling of the packaging.
To make it easier to choose a suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on the selected packaging category. Using the filter, you can clearly narrow down the offer according to key parameters such as neck type, size, colour or packaging material. This way you will quickly find bottles, jars, pots or other containers that best match your product type and the desired dosing method.
