The glass bottle is generally a very stable packaging for formulations containing alcohol and essential oils. However, we recommend always performing your own test of stability and spray functionality with the specific composition – check the smoothness of dosing, the sealing, and any changes in scent or colour over time. It is advisable to fill a smaller trial amount and monitor the behaviour of the product under standard storage conditions.

The packaging can be used repeatedly if proper hygiene practices are followed. Before the first filling and with every subsequent use, the bottle and spray pump need to be carefully cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable disinfectant, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow the packaging to dry thoroughly so that moisture does not accumulate inside and microbiological risks do not arise.

Uneven spraying can be caused by the product’s viscosity being too high or, conversely, too low, or by the presence of fine solid particles in the formulation. We recommend checking whether the dip tube is correctly fitted and not kinked or clogged. For more viscous products, you may need to adjust the formula (by diluting or changing the ingredients). If you work with liquids containing pigments or insoluble particles, it is advisable to filter them before filling to prevent the mechanism from clogging.

We recommend storing filled bottles in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, at a stable room temperature. It is important to always close the spray pump tightly to minimize evaporation of volatile components and the ingress of air humidity. For sensitive formulations (e.g. with a high content of natural oils or active substances), it is advisable to continuously monitor any changes in scent, colour or consistency and, in case of deviations, to check the formula and the recommended storage conditions of the raw materials used.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend emptying it as much as possible and rinsing out any remaining contents. The method of recycling needs to be adapted to the material types specified in the product parameters – the glass part should usually go into the glass container and the plastic components (spray pump, dip tube) into the appropriate separated waste according to local regulations. By separating the individual parts by material, you support more efficient processing in the recycling process and reduce the amount of mixed waste.
