The glass bottle with white matte dropper is a professional packaging solution for precise dosing of liquid formulations. It is ideal for home and artisan brands that need an aesthetically appealing and functional container for cosmetics or other liquid blends with controlled dropwise dispensing.
Thanks to the combination of a clear glass bottle and a dropper with rubber bulb, this packaging allows safe storage and convenient application of smaller amounts of product. Glass is a long-term stable, hygienic and easily cleanable material, suitable for formulations where cleanliness, visual control of the contents and minimisation of interaction between the packaging and the fill are important.
Glass bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dispensers according to the selected parameters. They can be combined with solutions such as screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test – verify sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, content of oils, alcohol or active substances).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached packaging quality certificate and in the product parameters.
Before first use we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and the dropper and then disinfecting them. It is appropriate to wash the container with a suitable cleaning agent, rinse with drinking water and allow it to dry completely. Afterwards, the packaging must be disinfected, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol in accordance with your internal hygiene procedures. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. After complete evaporation of the alcohol you can safely fill the bottle with the prepared product.
The packaging can be reused provided that hygiene principles are observed, as long as it is not mechanically damaged and the rubber or plastic parts of the dropper remain functional. Before each refilling the bottle and the dropper must be cleaned and then disinfected in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination of the new batch. For disinfection, alcohol-based products are suitable, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, which do not leave residues after evaporation. Always follow the hygiene procedures used in your production or home cosmetic laboratory.
When dosing, first open the bottle by unscrewing the dropper, gently squeeze the bulb, immerse the pipette into the product and, by releasing the bulb, draw up the required amount of liquid. Then apply drop by drop onto the skin, into a blend or into another container. For formulations with higher viscosity it may be necessary to squeeze the bulb more firmly or to draw up more slowly. We recommend testing the dosing in advance so that you know what volume is approximately represented by one drop of the specific formulation.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the material composition specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle can, after emptying and basic rinsing, be placed in a container intended for glass. The dropper is a combination of several materials (glass, plastic, rubber), so separate it according to local recommendations if possible, or place it in mixed or plastic waste collection in accordance with local rules. Always follow the recycling icons and information in the product parameter table and the sorting system in your municipality or city.
