FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Can this glass bottle be used repeatedly?

Yes, the glass packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable agent, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after it is completely dry is the bottle ready for refilling.

How should the glass bottle and the cap with lock be properly recycled?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend placing it in sorted collection according to the material specified in the product parameters. The glass container can normally be disposed of in the glass recycling bin after you remove any product residues. The plastic cap with lock should be sorted into plastic collection, unless local collection rules stipulate otherwise. Before recycling, it is not necessary to wash the packaging perfectly; rough emptying is sufficient to minimise product residues in the waste.

For which types of products is this bottle most suitable in terms of viscosity and type of formulation?

This type of dropper bottle is ideal primarily for low- to medium-viscosity liquids, such as aqueous and alcoholic solutions, oils, serums or toners. In the case of specific child-resistant requirements, however, it is always necessary to verify whether the given type of cap complies with the legislative standards in your country. We recommend carrying out your own testing and, for sensitive products, consulting the requirements with the competent authority or a packaging legislation expert.
