The glass bottle – medicine bottle represents a universal and professional packaging, particularly suitable for liquid and drop formulations that require clean, stable and hygienic packaging. Thanks to the durable glass, this bottle is ideal for packaging products that need reliable protection against external influences while also allowing visual control of the contents. Clear glass makes it easier to check the colour, clarity and amount of the filled product, which is important for both home and professional cosmetic production and other specialised solutions.
Glass bottles – medicine bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray heads or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters in the product detail. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

The glass bottle can be reused without any problems, as long as you follow basic hygiene principles. Before each filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the packaging mechanically, rinsing it and then disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example the products IPA 99% – isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After applying the disinfectant, allow the bottle and possibly also the closure to dry completely so that the residual alcohol evaporates and does not affect your formulation.

In the advanced filter, it is possible to sort the packaging according to several parameters – especially according to the type and size of the neck, the required size, colour and material. Thanks to this, you can easily narrow down the offer only to packaging that corresponds to your product and technical requirements.
Yes, the smaller glass medicine bottle is very practical for stability tests, trial batches and sample archiving. It makes it possible to monitor changes in colour, clarity and any changes in consistency or sedimentation. When testing new formulations, we recommend preparing several identical bottles so that you can compare the results under different storage conditions (light, temperature, storage time).
The choice of closure depends on the nature of the contents and the method of use. For drop solutions and intensive concentrates, droppers and pipette closures are suitable; for gentle application to the skin, spray heads or fine applicators are appropriate. Screw caps are practical where dosing is provided by a separate applicator (for example a measuring cup or a pipette outside the packaging). All available compatible closures can always be found directly with the specific bottle in the recommended accessories section, and we recommend performing your own sealing and dosing test with your specific formulation.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the type of material indicated in the parameter table for the product. Glass parts can generally be placed in a glass recycling container, while any plastic or metal closures should be separated and sorted according to local waste collection rules. Before placing the packaging in the recycling system, rinse it so that no product residue remains inside, and follow the instructions of your local waste management infrastructure.
For storage, we recommend keeping the bottle in a dry and clean environment, protected from extreme temperatures and mechanical damage. In the case of light-sensitive formulations, it is advisable to store the finished product away from direct sunlight or to supplement it with suitable secondary packaging (carton, outer packaging). Do not overfill the bottle so that the closure seals properly and so that the neck does not become contaminated during handling.
