The plastic bottle for cosmetics and other liquid contents is a practical, easy-to-handle packaging solution suitable for various types of formulations. Thanks to its transparent design, it allows simple visual control of the fill level, consistency and colour of the product, which facilitates work during dosing, testing and presenting products to customers. The rigid plastic ensures reliable preservation of the contents and comfortable use in both home and professional production.
The packaging is designed to withstand everyday handling, transport and storage in cosmetic and craft facilities. In combination with a suitable type of closure or dispenser, it provides safe, controlled and clean dispensing of liquid and slightly viscous products, while maintaining an aesthetic appearance suitable also for retail packs or samples.
The bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected at purchase. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
When selecting a closure or dispenser, follow primarily the type of product (liquid toner, oil elixir, water-based spray, emulsion preparation) and the desired method of application to the skin or hair area. A properly selected component helps to optimise consumption, ease of use and the overall user experience.
All technical parameters of the packaging are stated in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
When working with plastic packaging made of PET-type material, it is important to follow the recommended conditions of use. PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures, since excessive thermal stress poses a risk of deformation of the packaging and a reduction of its functional properties. For this reason, the packaging is not suitable for cleaning in a dishwasher or for boiling.
If you decide not to use the packaging repeatedly, its responsible recycling is recommended, in accordance with the material information and recycling symbol given in the product parameters. Sort the packaging into the appropriate collection container according to local waste separation rules so that its further material recovery can be ensured.
The packaging can be used repeatedly with proper handling and observance of hygiene principles, especially in home cosmetic production or when refilling larger packs into smaller dosing bottles. However, before each new filling it is necessary to clean the bottle thoroughly and then disinfect it, for example using isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 %. In this way you ensure minimisation of microbiological risk and higher stability of the final product. At the same time, we recommend checking the condition of the material and replacing the packaging in case of visible mechanical wear or damage.
After the contents have been used up, first rinse the bottle with a suitable cleaning solution or a mild detergent and lukewarm water, avoiding high temperatures that could deform the plastic. Then rinse the packaging thoroughly with clean water and allow it to dry completely. Before refilling, we recommend disinfecting the inner surface and contact areas with an alcohol solution, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based, and allowing it to air out. This will ensure suitable hygienic conditions for the new fill.
Plastic packaging made of PET-type material is not designed for contact with high temperatures. Exposure to hot water, steam sterilisation or dishwasher cleaning can lead to deformation of the walls, shape changes and deterioration of the closure tightness. For this reason, it is not recommended to boil the packaging or otherwise thermally sterilise it. For disinfection, alcohol solutions at room temperature and gentle cleaning procedures that do not disrupt the structure of the plastic and preserve its functionality are suitable.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, its recycling according to the material type stated in the product parameters and the recycling symbol on the packaging is recommended. First empty the bottle, allow any remaining contents to drain out and briefly rinse the interior to minimise contamination of the separated waste. Then sort the packaging into the appropriate collection container for the relevant type of plastic, thus enabling its further material processing. Sort the closure and any dosing components according to whether they are made of the same or a different plastic type, as indicated in the accompanying documentation and packaging parameters.
When searching for suitable packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you will find in the upper part of the page after clicking on the selected category (for example bottles, jars, pots or dispensers). The advanced filter allows you to efficiently narrow down the offer according to several parameters at once – you can select the neck type, required size, colour variant and specific packaging material. In this way you will quickly find a combination of packaging and closure that will best match the consistency, method of use and visual requirements of your product.
The bottle is ideal mainly for low- to medium-viscosity liquids, such as facial and body toners, hydrolats, water-based serums, light emulsion fluids or hair tonics. In combination with a sprayer it is suitable for water-based sprays and aromatic mist preparations, while when using a classic closure or dropper it is suitable for precise dosing of concentrated solutions. Thick creams, balms or highly viscous gels usually work better in jars or special dispensing containers, so when choosing it is advisable to take into account the consistency of the formulation and the desired method of application to the skin or hair.
