Transparent plastic medicine bottle represents a universal packaging suitable for filling liquid as well as loose products, where good visibility of the contents and easy control of the quantity are important. The light, durable and practical plastic bottle enables convenient handling during filling, storage and dispensing, while offering a stable and reliable solution for smaller production runs as well as for home mixing of preparations. Thanks to its design, the packaging is suitable for a wide spectrum of formulations that do not require special barrier or light protection.
Plastic medicine bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures that have been created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) so that you can be sure the packaging fully meets the requirements of your specific product.
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene principles are observed and it is handled appropriately. Before each new filling it is necessary to clean the medicine bottle thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the inner surface of the packaging has completely dried is it appropriate to proceed with refilling.
Before repeated use, we recommend first rinsing the packaging mechanically with a suitable cleaning solution or with warm water containing a gentle detergent that is compatible with the given type of plastic. Then it is necessary to treat both the inner and outer surface with a disinfecting alcohol, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, let the packaging dry naturally at room temperature so that no liquid residues remain, which could affect the stability or fragrance of the filled product.
Plastic packaging of this type is not intended for exposure to high temperatures, nor for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling. Under elevated temperature there is a risk of deformation of the walls, change in the shape of the thread or disturbance of the tightness of the closure, which can significantly affect the functionality of the bottle and the safety of the stored product. We therefore recommend gentle manual cleaning and disinfection at room temperature, without the use of aggressive chemicals and without a thermal sterilisation regime.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend that after emptying and roughly rinsing it, you place it in sorted waste collection according to the type of plastic stated in the product parameters on the page. The information on the material and the relevant recycling symbol will indicate into which container the packaging belongs. Before placing it in the collection container, it is advisable to remove any remaining contents and separate any different components (for example the closure) if they are made from another material. In this way you will support more efficient sorting and subsequent recycling of the packaging.
The simplest way is to use the advanced filter, which you will find in the upper part of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. In the advanced filter you can customise the selection according to several parameters, for example according to the neck type, required size, colour or packaging material. Thanks to this, you will quickly find bottles, medicine bottles, jars or dispensers that best match the technical requirements and design concept of your specific product.
