Is it possible to use this plastic medicine bottle repeatedly?

The packaging can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene principles are observed and it is handled appropriately. Before each new filling it is necessary to clean the medicine bottle thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the inner surface of the packaging has completely dried is it appropriate to proceed with refilling.

How should I properly clean and disinfect the plastic medicine bottle before further use?

Before repeated use, we recommend first rinsing the packaging mechanically with a suitable cleaning solution or with warm water containing a gentle detergent that is compatible with the given type of plastic. Then it is necessary to treat both the inner and outer surface with a disinfecting alcohol, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, let the packaging dry naturally at room temperature so that no liquid residues remain, which could affect the stability or fragrance of the filled product.

Is this plastic packaging suitable for exposure to higher temperatures or for washing in a dishwasher?

Plastic packaging of this type is not intended for exposure to high temperatures, nor for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling. Under elevated temperature there is a risk of deformation of the walls, change in the shape of the thread or disturbance of the tightness of the closure, which can significantly affect the functionality of the bottle and the safety of the stored product. We therefore recommend gentle manual cleaning and disinfection at room temperature, without the use of aggressive chemicals and without a thermal sterilisation regime.

How should I correctly recycle this medicine bottle if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend that after emptying and roughly rinsing it, you place it in sorted waste collection according to the type of plastic stated in the product parameters on the page.
