FAQ – Most frequent questions

Is this packaging suitable for thick creams as well as lighter emulsions?

The dispenser is designed primarily for creamy and emulsion preparations of standard cosmetic viscosity. It is suitable for most face and body creams, gel-cream textures and lighter emulsions. For very thick balms or highly viscous products we recommend performing a test before filling to verify smooth dispensing and complete emptying of the bottle.

Can I use this bottle repeatedly?

The packaging can be used repeatedly if handled correctly, always with strict adherence to hygiene principles. Before each new filling, the bottle and all parts of the dispenser must be mechanically cleaned and subsequently disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol ALK001 – IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol ALK002 – Ethanol 96 %. Allow the disinfectant to evaporate and only then refill the packaging.

How should I properly clean the cream dispenser before the next use?

First empty the dispenser as much as possible and disassemble the accessible parts according to the possibilities of the construction. It is recommended to rinse with a suitable cleaning solution or with warm water and a mild detergent, taking care that no residues of the cleaning agent remain. Then disinfect all parts with alcohol (ALK001 or ALK002), allow them to dry thoroughly and only then reassemble and refill. For very thick or pigmented products it is advisable to carry out a trial filling with a smaller amount of the new formulation.

How can I safely dispose of or recycle this packaging if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend first emptying it as much as possible of residual cream. The subsequent recycling method is governed by the material marking stated in the product parameters on the page, where you will find information about the relevant type of plastic and the recommended fraction of sorted waste. Before placing it in the collection container it is advisable to at least briefly rinse the bottle, in order to minimise the amount of cosmetic residues in the waste stream. For composite packaging it is ideal, where possible, to separate the bottle and dispenser and sort them according to the material indicated.
