The plastic medicine bottle with sprayer represents a practical and lightweight packaging suitable for hygienic and precise dosing of various liquid formulations. Thanks to the combination of a transparent plastic body and a functional sprayer, it is ideal for packaging preparations for which even application onto the skin, onto a surface or into the air is important. The packaging is designed to be stable, user-friendly and suitable for a wide range of home-made and professional production projects.
This plastic bottle with a black sprayer is supplied as a ready-made combination of packaging and dosing component, prepared for immediate use after filling. The combinations of packaging and caps that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the particular formulation).

When working with plastic packaging made of PET-type material, it is important to pay attention to suitable conditions of use. PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures, since excessive thermal load may lead to deformation of the packaging and deterioration of its functional properties. For this reason, the packaging is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling. For cleaning, we recommend a gentle procedure at room temperature and suitable disinfectants.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if you observe basic hygiene rules and take into account the compatibility of the material with your formulation. Before each new filling, the bottle and the sprayer must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. At the same time, it is necessary to avoid exposing the packaging to high temperatures – PET material is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling, because with such handling there is a risk of its deformation.
You clean the sprayer by removing the original contents from the bottle, rinsing the container and the tube with a suitable cleaning solution and letting them drain. Afterwards you can flush the sprayer with a small amount of alcohol, which you pump through the mechanism so that the internal parts are freed from residues of the original product. After flushing, let all parts dry thoroughly at room temperature. Do not use hot water, steam cleaning or a dishwasher, in order to avoid damage to the PET bottle and to the sprayer mechanism.
The bottle with sprayer is suitable primarily for liquid formulations with low to medium viscosity, which can be easily sprayed – for example facial and body sprays, hydrolats, toners, air fresheners, disinfectant solutions or hair tonics. Thick emulsions, gels or preparations with a high content of insoluble particles may clog the sprayer and reduce dosing comfort, which is why for such formulations it is advisable to carry out a functionality test before use.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend, after emptying and basic rinsing, placing it into the relevant separate collection according to the material marking given in the parameter table at the product on the Handymade.sk website. The plastic parts of the bottle and the sprayer generally belong in the container designated for plastics, and it is advisable to remove any residue of the contents and to minimise the amount of labels or dirt. Recycling rules may differ slightly depending on the local collection system, so it is also advisable to follow the recommendations of your local collection company.

This way you can easily find bottles, medicine bottles, jars, pumps or sprayers that best match your formulation and visual concept.
When filling, it is important to work at room temperature and not to overheat either the packaging or the filling, so that the PET material is not deformed. Pour the product slowly and without vigorous splashing in order to minimise foaming and bubble formation, which will make precise filling easier. During storage, we recommend protecting the packaging from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures and ensuring that the sprayer is always tightly screwed on, thereby reducing the risk of leakage of the contents and of the product drying out in the tube and nozzle.
