The plastic bottle – pill bottle with a fine white spray pump represents a practical packaging solution for liquid products where precise and even dosing in the form of a mist or spray is important. The transparent bottle allows for easy visual inspection of the contents, which is useful for both home and professional cosmetic production.
The packaging is designed to reliably protect liquid formulations and to ensure their convenient application directly onto the skin, hair, textiles or into the air. Thanks to the functional spray pump, it is suitable for gentle toners, hygiene solutions, aromatherapeutic blends or auxiliary preparations for a handbag or travel kit. The compact dimensions and lightweight plastic material make handling, transport and storage easier.
This packaging represents a combination of a plastic bottle and a functional spray pump. The combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially for preparations containing alcohol, essential oils or other active substances.
All technical parameters of the packaging are stated in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The packaging can be reused if handled appropriately and not damaged, but always only in compliance with basic hygiene principles. Before each refilling we recommend thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting the bottle and the spray pump, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Only afterwards is it suitable to refill the bottle with the prepared formulation.
Before repeated use we recommend first rinsing the packaging with a suitable cleaning solution or with warm water and a mild detergent, and then thoroughly rinsing it with clean water. After mechanical cleaning, it is necessary to disinfect the bottle and the spray pump with a suitable alcohol-based preparation (e.g. IPA or ethanol) and let them dry completely. Do not use high temperatures or boiling during cleaning, in order to avoid deformation of the plastic or damage to the function of the spray pump.
We recommend storing the bottle in a dry and cooler place, protected from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Avoid exposure to high temperatures, since with plastic there is a risk of softening and deformation of the packaging, which can affect the sealing and also the dosing. The packaging is not suitable for boiling or for washing in a dishwasher. During use we recommend regularly checking the functionality of the spray pump and the condition of the thread, especially if you carry the packaging in a handbag or luggage.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is suitable to recycle it according to the recommendations stated in the product parameters on the Handymade website. Before disposal we recommend emptying any remaining contents as much as possible and sorting the individual parts of the packaging (bottle, spray pump, possibly cap) according to the type of material specified for the product. Then place them in the appropriate container for sorted waste according to local rules for the collection and recycling of plastics, so that the material can be further recovered.
