The plastic bottle for fabric softener represents a practical and durable packaging suitable for various types of liquid household preparations as well as for artisan cosmetic production. Thanks to its transparent design, you have a constant overview of the fill level and can more easily check the colour or cleanliness of the filled formulation. The bottle is designed to reliably protect liquid products from common environmental influences while at the same time allowing convenient handling during filling, storage and dispensing.
This type of plastic container is particularly popular for packaging household cleaning and laundry agents, fabric softeners, cosmetic solutions and other liquid blends, where a functional, lightweight and easy-to-grip bottle is required. Thanks to its compatibility with different closures and dispensing components, it can be easily adapted to the specific use and product type.
The standalone bottle is compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems according to the selected product parameters. You can combine it with screw caps, practical flip-top caps, dosing caps, as well as special applicators designed for more precise pouring or dispensing of the liquid.
The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) so that you can be sure that the selected closure is suitable for the viscosity and composition of your product.

Can this plastic bottle be used repeatedly?
Yes, the bottle can be reused for normal household and artisan use, provided you follow basic hygiene principles. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting the packaging, ideally with a suitable alcohol, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99% or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Disinfection reduces the risk of microbial contamination and helps maintain the stability of your formulations. After thorough rinsing and drying, you can refill the bottle with a suitable product.
How should I care for the plastic bottle properly so that it lasts as long as possible?
We recommend cleaning the bottle with lukewarm water, a mild cleaning agent and a soft brush or sponge so that you do not scratch the surface. The material should not be exposed to high temperatures – in contact with hot water or when drying at high temperatures, there is a risk of deformation of the packaging. For these reasons, the bottle is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling. After washing, let it dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
How should I safely dispose of or recycle the bottle if I no longer want to use it?
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend recycling it according to the type of plastic specified in the product parameters. Before handing it over for separate collection, rinse the container to remove residues of the contents, let it dry and remove any label residues, as far as this is possible without damaging the packaging. Then dispose of it in the appropriate plastic container in accordance with local waste-sorting rules. In this way, you support the reprocessing of the material and reduce the amount of municipal waste.
Is this bottle also suitable for storing more viscous products, for example gels or concentrated blends?
The bottle is primarily intended for liquid and medium-viscosity products such as fabric softeners, laundry solutions or liquid cleaners. More viscous gels or highly viscous concentrates can be stored in the bottle provided you choose a suitable type of closure or dispenser that allows comfortable outflow or pouring. We recommend carrying out a trial filling on a smaller sample and verifying whether the chosen dosing method suits the consistency of your product and whether the bottle remains dimensionally stable during handling.
