The plastic pill jar with a transparent body and black cap represents a practical solution for clear and hygienic storage of tablets, capsules and fine loose blends. Thanks to the transparent walls you have instant visual control over the contents, which makes dosing and monitoring consumption easier. Closing with a screw cap provides reliable protection against contamination and unwanted moisture, so the jar is suitable for packing and storing dry pharmaceutical and cosmetic products.
The combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (tightness, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

The jar is designed to provide practical and clear storage of tablets and capsules under normal storage conditions. The screw cap helps limit access of moisture and contamination, therefore it is suitable for everyday use even over a longer period of time. For sensitive products always follow the recommended conditions of the tablet or capsule manufacturer (especially temperature, humidity and protection from light) and choose the placement of the jar accordingly.
The jar can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are followed; however, we recommend always assigning it to one type of use (for example tablets, capsules or cosmetic raw materials) in order to minimise the risk of contamination. Before each new filling it is necessary to clean and disinfect the jar thoroughly. For disinfection we recommend using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After applying the alcohol, allow the inner surface to ventilate thoroughly and dry before refilling.
If you decide not to reuse the jar, we recommend recycling it according to the type of plastic stated in the parameter table for the product. Before handing it over to separate collection, remove any product residues, dispenser or cap and place the packaging in the appropriate plastic container according to the material marking. By recycling you reduce the amount of waste and support the re-use of raw materials. In case of doubt, follow the local waste sorting rules in your municipality.
We recommend storing the jar in a dry place, at room temperature and away from direct sunlight, especially if it contains products that are sensitive to light or heat. Always tighten the cap firmly to prevent unnecessary access of moisture and dust. When packing tablets or capsules, also follow the recommendations of their manufacturer – if it is stated that they should be kept in the dark or at a specific temperature, adapt the placement of the jar accordingly.
