Clear Plastic Recycled Bottle, White Plastic Cap, 250 ml

A plastic recycled 250 ml bottle with a white cap is a ready-made set for filling liquid and semi-liquid cosmetic products. The transparent wall reveals the contents and their colour, the material is lightweight and shatter-resistant, making it suitable for products destined for the bathroom, a handbag or travel. The bottle is made from recycled PET, which you will appreciate if you want to reduce the proportion of new plastic in your packaging while staying with a standard PET bottle.

A simple screw cap without a dispenser means the contents are poured out or dispensed from the bottle by gently squeezing the wall. The set is therefore suitable where precise dosing is not required.

What the set offers

• Transparent recycled PET bottle – the customer sees the colour and consistency of the product, the packaging is lightweight, shatter-resistant and, compared to glass, reduces the weight of the shipment.
• Ribbed white cap – the ribbing makes unscrewing easier even with wet hands, the white colour creates a neutral contrast to the transparent bottle and a clean base for a label.
• Sealing insert – the cap has a foam insert that, when tightened, seats on the neck and helps keep the contents inside the bottle during normal handling and transport.
• Verified compatibility – both the bottle and the cap are declared suitable for contact with cosmetic products; the declaration of conformity can be found with the product.
• Uniform thread – both components have the same neck type, so the set fits and seals without trying different combinations. Additional closures with the same neck can be found in the ready-made combinations.

Nominal and total volume

The nominal volume of 250 ml is the quantity for which the bottle is intended under normal filling. The total volume to the brim is greater, as it includes the space up to the neck. This difference is a buffer for the cap and for expansion of the contents when the temperature changes. The bottle should therefore be filled to the nominal volume, not to the brim. If filled up to the neck, some of the contents would be forced out when the cap is tightened and the sealing insert would become soiled.

What the set is suitable for

Aqueous and surfactant-based products – shampoos, shower gels, liquid soaps and wash foams. The slightly squeezable wall makes dispensing into the palm easier and the transparency shows how much product remains.

Tonics, hydrolats and micellar waters – thin aqueous preparations that are poured onto a cotton pad or into the palm. If you want to spray, choose a spray pump with the same neck size instead of the cap.

Body milks and light creams – semi-liquid emulsions that can be squeezed out of the bottle. Thick creams and butters are difficult to get out of a bottle with a narrow neck; a jar or pot is more suitable for those.

Massage and body oils – vegetable oils and oil blends with a lower proportion of essential oils. For products with a high concentration of essential oils or containing solvents, we recommend verifying the suitability of the plastic in the finished formulation.

What is worth knowing when filling

Before the first filling, rinse and disinfect the bottle and cap, for example with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, and allow to dry completely. Residual water in the bottle dilutes the product and may weaken the effectiveness of the preservation.

The bottle is intended for cosmetic products. The set is not approved for food contact, so do not use it for household oils, syrups or herbal infusions intended for consumption.

The transparent material does not protect the contents from light. Products sensitive to UV radiation – for example those with a high proportion of unsaturated oils, vitamin C or natural pigments – should be stored away from direct sunlight, or a brown or dark container should be chosen for them.

Tighten the cap firmly but without force. Overtightening can damage the thread or the sealing insert, which will worsen rather than improve the seal. During transport it is advisable to place the bottle in a bag or additionally seal it with shrink tape over the cap.

After thorough cleaning and disinfection, the bottle can be reused, ideally for the same type of product. Check the sealing insert in the cap to make sure it has not swollen or been damaged. If it has changed, replace the cap.

After use, the bottle belongs in the sorted plastic waste collection according to the material marking PET; the polypropylene cap also goes with plastics.
