Product description

White sage essential oil is interesting for its pure, woody to herbal aroma, which combines well with citrus or other herbal essential oils.

You can use white sage essential oil as a component of diffusers and air fresheners, or it also finds its application in cosmetics, for example as a steam bath for the facial skin; it is also suitable for inhalation in cases of respiratory tract inflammation. You can also add it to massage oils and balms; do not apply undiluted essential oil to the skin.

Thanks to the content of camphor, white sage essential oil has antifungal and antimicrobial effects, which helps to care for problem skin. At the same time, it improves the appearance of cellulite, because it increases blood circulation in the skin.

White sage essential oil is soluble in oils; add it to formulations only in the cooling phase. You can use it in products that contain an oil phase. The maximum recommended dosage for individual product types can be found, for example, in IFRA standards; the dosage usually ranges up to 1%.

All supplied raw materials are of cosmetic grade, not suitable for internal use. When handling oils, use appropriate protective equipment.

WHAT ARE ESSENTIAL OILS?

Essential oils, also called ethereal oils, are natural aromatic substances that come from various parts of plants – trunks, roots, seeds, flowers, leaves, etc. They give plants their characteristic scent and, in addition, they also have therapeutic and protective effects. They act very positively on symptoms at the physical, emotional or mental level.

Their chemical composition is fairly complex. Essential oils are obtained from plants most often by distillation, extraction or pressing. Essential oils are highly concentrated and are applied directly to the skin only after dilution with carrier vegetable oils (almond, apricot kernel, jojoba, etc.). The only exceptions are tea tree and lavender essential oils, which you can apply directly.

Use essential oils for inhalation or in your cosmetic products; we do not recommend the consumption of any essential oils of any brands.

Essential oils are fat-soluble, therefore if you want to use them in products that do not contain oils and butters, use a solvent /solubiliser/.

HOW DO I USE ESSENTIAL OIL?

Production of cosmetics and soaps – the required amount of essential oil depends on the specific recipe and the quantity produced.
Inhalation, steaming – drip a few drops of essential oil into an aroma lamp, diffuser, or into a container with hot water.
Bath – mix the drops of oil in a base oil /coconut, olive.../, in 1 dl of milk or in a teaspoon of honey, pour this mixture into the bath. Pure essential oils are insoluble in water, the drops would float on the surface.
Massage – add a few drops of essential oil to a cold-pressed vegetable oil (approx. 50 ml) and mix well. Enjoy a pleasant massage.
Sauna – you can choose from conifers, rosemary, eucalyptus, sage, mint or citrus aromas. The number of drops depends on the size of the sauna and your taste.

Essential oils are also popularly used in skin care, local compresses, hair masks, in oral hygiene care...
