Product description

White sage essential oil is interesting for its clean, woody to herbal scent that blends well with citrus or other herbal essential oils.

White sage essential oil can be used as part of diffusers and air fresheners or in cosmetics, for example as a steam bath for the skin or for inhalation for respiratory infections. It can also be added to massage oils and balms, but do not apply undiluted essential oil to the skin.

Due to its camphor content, white sage essential oil has antifungal and antimicrobial properties, helping to care for problematic skin. At the same time, it improves the appearance of cellulite as it increases blood circulation in the skin.

White sage essential oil is soluble in oils, add it to products only at the cooling stage. You can use it in products that contain an oil component. The maximum recommended dosage for each type of product can be found in IFRA standards, for example, usually up to 1%.

All raw materials supplied are of cosmetic quality, not suitable for internal use. Use appropriate protective equipment when handling the oils.

WHAT ARE ESSENTIAL OILS?

Essential oils, or essential oils, are natural aromatic substances that come from different parts of plants - stems, roots, seeds, flowers, leaves, etc. They give plants their characteristic scent and also have medicinal and protective effects. They have a very positive effect on symptoms on a physical, emotional or mental level.

Their chemical composition is quite complicated. Essential oils are most often obtained from plants by distillation, extraction or pressing. Essential oils are highly concentrated and are applied directly to the skin only after dilution with carrier plant oils (almond, apricot, jojoba, etc.). The only exceptions are tea tree and lavender essential oils, which can be applied directly.

Use essential oils for inhalation or in your beauty products, we do not recommend consuming any essential oils of any brands.

Essential oils are fat soluble, so if you want to use them in products without oils and butters, use a solvent /solubilizer/.

HOW DO I USE ESSENTIAL OIL?

Cosmetic and soap making - the amount of essential oil needed depends on the specific recipe and the quantity being made.
Inhalation, steaming - drip a few drops of essential oil into an aromatherapy bottle, diffuser, or container of hot water.
Bath - mix drops of oil in a base oil /coconut, olive.../, in 1 dcl of milk or in a spoonful of honey, pour this mixture into the bath. The essential oils themselves are insoluble in water, the drops would float on the surface.
Massage - add a few drops of essential oil to cold pressed vegetable oil (approx 50 ml) and mix well. Pleasant massage.
Sauna - choose from conifer, rosemary, eucalyptus, sage, mint or citrus scents. The amount of drops depends on the size of the sauna and your taste.

Essential oils are also popularly used in skin care, topical compresses, hair masks, oral care...
