Plastic bottle without closure represents a universal packaging suitable for a wide range of liquid cosmetic preparations as well as auxiliary solutions. Thanks to the high-quality plastic material, it provides stable and hygienic packaging that is suitable for everyday use in both home and professional production.
The bottle is designed to allow accurate and comfortable dispensing when combined with a suitable closure or dispenser. The smooth surface is ideal for labelling and marking, which makes it easier to clearly indicate the contents and batches for both smaller and larger product series.
The stand-alone bottle is compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems according to the selected product parameters. You can combine it with screw caps, dropper inserts, sprayers or practical applicators, allowing you to adapt the dispensing method to the specific type of preparation.
The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – verify sealing, correct dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with your specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oil phase, etc.).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
When working with this type of plastic packaging, it is important to avoid exposure to high temperatures, which can lead to deformation. The packaging is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling. Gentle hand cleaning and disinfection with suitable agents that are compatible with the material used is recommended.
Yes, the bottle can be used repeatedly if handled correctly and if hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, ideally using isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol, available in the range as products IPA 99 % – isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Packaging prepared in this way is more suitable for repeated filling and helps to minimise the risk of microbial contamination.
After emptying the contents, we recommend rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning agent, then rinsing thoroughly with water and allowing it to dry completely. Before the next filling, it is important to disinfect the packaging – for example by rinsing or spraying with alcohol-based preparations, such as products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Allow the disinfectant to act briefly and then remove any excess so that the packaging is clean, dry and ready for refilling.
This type of plastic packaging is not intended for exposure to high temperatures. In a dishwasher or during boiling, it may become deformed, its mechanical stability may be reduced, and its sealing properties during subsequent closure may be affected. Gentle hand washing in lukewarm water with a mild detergent and subsequent disinfection with a suitable alcohol solution is recommended in order to maintain the functionality of the bottle even with repeated use.
If you decide not to re-use the packaging, we recommend that after washing and removing any remaining contents you place it in sorted waste according to the type of plastic specified in the product parameters. The information about the material (for example the designation of the specific plastic raw material) is given with the product, and according to this you should choose the appropriate container for plastic waste. By following these rules, you will support proper recycling and the re-use of raw materials in the recycling process.
To make it easier to choose suitable packaging, you can use the extended filter available at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging material category. The extended filter allows you to sort products according to several parameters – in particular according to neck type, size, colour and packaging material. This allows you to quickly narrow down the selection to bottles, jars or medicine bottles that will best match the properties of your specific product and the preferred dispensing method.
The choice of closure depends on the nature of your formulation and the desired method of application. For liquid tonics and facial toners, standard screw caps or press caps are practical; for oily and concentrated preparations, droppers are often used, while for refreshers, hydrolates and gentle solutions, sprayers are suitable. In the Handymade range you will find closures and dispensers adapted to the corresponding neck types, and for each selected combination we recommend carrying out your own sealing and dosing test with your specific product.
