The packaging can be reused repeatedly if basic hygiene rules are followed. Before the first and each subsequent filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and spray pump, rinsing them and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcoholic preparation. For disinfection it is ideal to use, for example, isopropyl alcohol or ethanol intended for cosmetic making – you can find them in the offer as products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol and Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely and only then refill them with the chosen product.

The spray pump is designed so that after several initial actuations it creates a stable and fine mist. At first use it is necessary to pump the mechanism several times until the dip tube is filled with product. If it starts to spray unevenly or becomes clogged, we recommend unscrewing the nozzle, rinsing it in warm water and, if necessary, spraying clean alcohol through it briefly to remove any residues of oils or pigments. After cleaning, allow the parts to dry and then screw them back onto the bottle.

The lightweight plastic design is practical for everyday carrying and travelling. Before placing it in a handbag or backpack, make sure that the spray pump is firmly tightened and, if the closure type allows it, lock the actuator or use an overcap to prevent unintentional pressing. For transport we recommend storing the bottle in an upright position and, for safety, placing it in a separate pocket or resealable bag, especially for liquids with higher fluidity or alcohol content.

If you decide not to use the packaging any longer, it is advisable to recycle it according to the material specified in the product parameter table on the Handymade website. Before sorting, we recommend emptying the bottle and rinsing out product residues. Then place it in the container designated for the given type of plastic according to local waste sorting rules. The spray head should be separated and sorted according to local options for recycling plastic components; if separate recycling is not possible, dispose of it in mixed waste. In this way you minimise environmental burden and support the reuse of raw materials.
