The bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed, especially for home production of cosmetics or cleaning blends. However, before each new filling it is necessary to clean the packaging thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example with the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and prolongs the stability of your product.

Before re-use we recommend disassembling the bottle into the body and the sprayer, rinsing it with clean water and a mild cleaning agent and then rinsing thoroughly. After mechanical cleaning, fill the bottle with a small amount of alcoholic disinfectant solution and press the sprayer several times so that the disinfectant reaches the entire dosing tube and the sprayer head. Then let the components dry naturally at room temperature in order to minimise the risk of residual water in the system.

The spray bottle is intended primarily for low-viscosity liquids that can be dosed in the form of a mist or fine spray. Thick emulsions, gels or products with a high content of insoluble particles may over time clog the nozzle and impair the functionality of the sprayer. For formulations with a high proportion of essential oils or strongly aggressive substances it is always advisable to carry out a test of material stability and dosing functionality on a small trial sample.

In this way you support an environmentally friendly approach and reduce the amount of municipal waste.
