The packaging can be reused provided strict hygiene rules and appropriate cleaning are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the dosing pump must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected in order to prevent microbial contamination or unwanted reactions between residues of the original product and the new formulation. For disinfection we recommend using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol and etanol 96 % denaturovaný, which you can find in the Handymade.sk range. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely and only then refill the packaging.

Before reuse, it is advisable to empty the contents completely, disassemble the packaging into the accessible parts and remove product residues by rinsing with a suitable cleaning agent and water. We then recommend disinfecting the packaging with alcohol (for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol), paying particular attention to the tube and pump mechanism. After disinfection, let all components air-dry at room temperature. Only once they are completely dry is the bottle ready for refilling. Following these steps helps to reduce the risk of microbial growth and prolongs the usability of both the product and the packaging itself.

If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the type of material specified in the product parameters. First remove any remaining contents and, if possible, separate the bottle and pump into individual parts (bottle body, pump, tube). Sort the plastic components into the appropriate recycling stream according to local sorting rules – usually into the container intended for plastic packaging. Correct sorting helps ensure that the material from the packaging can be further used in the recycling process and thus reduces the volume of waste.
