The plastic medicine bottle with aluminium closure represents a practical and professional-looking packaging solution for various types of liquid and powdered formulations. Thanks to the high-quality plastic body and the precise screw closure, it is suitable for packaging cosmetic products, concentrated blends and auxiliary solutions for home or artisan production. The opaque design helps protect the contents from light and at the same time discreetly conceals any potential colouring of the product, which supports an aesthetic and uniform appearance of your brand.
The packaging is designed to be comfortable to use, easy to fill and close, and to provide stability during storage and transport. In combination with a suitable type of inner closure or supplementary dispensing component, it can ensure precise and controlled dosing in line with the needs of the formulation.
The bottle is generally suitable for a wide range of cosmetic formulations including oil-based and hydro-alcoholic compositions; however, it is always necessary to perform your own compatibility test with the specific product. We recommend filling a smaller trial batch, monitoring the behaviour of the material in contact with the formulation (colour change, softening, leakage) and verifying long-term stability under real storage conditions.
The packaging can be reused provided that basic hygiene rules are followed and compatibility with the new formulation is taken into account. Before each new filling, the bottle and cap must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected – suitable options include IPA 99 % or ethanol 96 %, which you can find on Handymade.sk as the products IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol and ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination.
Before the first filling, we recommend visually inspecting the packaging, removing any dust or production residues and then preparing it hygienically. In practice, a brief rinse with a suitable medium has proven effective (for example, boiled and cooled water or a component that is part of your formulation), then disinfect the bottle and cap using alcohol – for example IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based – and allow them to dry completely at room temperature. Only after the alcohol has completely evaporated is the packaging ready for filling.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material type stated in the product parameters on the Handymade.sk website. First, empty as much of the remaining product as possible; if necessary, rinse the interior with a small amount of water or a suitable solvent according to the nature of the contents. Then separate the plastic body of the bottle from the metal closure – each material is sorted into the appropriate recycling container according to local rules (plastic, metal). Following this procedure helps ensure efficient waste processing within the recycling system.
