The plastic bottle with disc-top closure represents a practical and reliable solution for dispensing modern cosmetic formulations such as gentle cleansing products, emulsions or liquid personal care products. Thanks to precise opening and closing via the disc-top mechanism, it enables comfortable and clean dispensing without unnecessary waste of the contents, which is appreciated by home formulators as well as professional brands.
The integrated disc-top type closure supports easy one-handed use and minimizes the contact of the contents with the external environment. The packaging is also designed to withstand commonly used surfactants, oils and emulsion systems well, which makes it suitable for filling both liquid and lightly viscous products. The aesthetic combination of the white bottle with a gold closure and black center looks elegant and professional both on the shelf and at the point of sale.
This type of bottle is supplied in combination with a disc-top cap, which ensures convenient opening and closing without the need for complete unscrewing. The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – in particular sealing, correct dosing and the behavior of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, pH, alcohol or oil content).

When designing the formulation and dosage, we recommend following the specified parameters and your own stability testing so that the final product remains safe, functional and user-comfortable throughout its entire declared shelf life.
The disc-top closure enables convenient dispensing of low- to medium-viscosity products such as toners, light emulsions, body and face milks or shampoos. For very thick creams, dispensing may be less comfortable, so we recommend always testing the behavior of the specific formulation in the bottle and during dispensing through the closure before filling.
The bottle can be reused provided that basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned, any residues of the previous product removed, and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based product, for example with isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol. After disinfection, allow the packaging and closure to dry completely at room temperature. When changing the product type (e.g. from oil-based to water-based), it is always advisable to carry out a trial filling and check the scent, cleanliness and functionality of the dispensing.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend, after rinsing, placing it into sorted waste according to the type of material specified in the product parameter table. Before disposal, remove any remaining contents, separate the individual parts if they are made of different materials, and place them in the appropriate container for separate collection. By following the recommended recycling method according to the product parameters, you support efficient processing of the packaging and reduce the amount of mixed waste.
When filling, we recommend using clean tools, working in the cleanest environment possible, and ensuring that no impurities or excess air enter the bottle. After filling, close the bottle carefully with the disc-top closure and check the sealing by turning it upside down and pressing gently. For storage, follow the requirements of your formulation – keep the packaging away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures and avoid long-term exposure to a humid environment in order to preserve the stability of the contents as well as the mechanical resistance of the packaging.
