The plastic bottle with flip-top cap represents a practical and reliable packaging for various types of liquid cosmetic preparations as well as auxiliary solutions. Thanks to the shape of the bottle and the integration of the cap with convenient opening, the packaging is suitable for more precise dosing, easy handling and safe carrying. Closing with a flip-top helps to limit accidental spillage of the contents and increases hygiene during use in everyday care.
The packaging is suitable for filling products with different viscosities – from light aqueous solutions to thicker emulsions, gels or cleansing products. The smooth surface allows easy labelling with stickers and professional branding execution according to the needs of your brand.
This bottle is supplied as a combination of packaging and flip-top closure. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene rules are observed and it is handled appropriately. Before each new filling, the bottle and the cap must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol solution, for example with isopropyl alcohol or with ethanol of plant origin. After treatment, let the packaging dry completely and only then fill it with a new product. In the case of visible wear or damage, do not continue to use the packaging.
First rinse the bottle and the flip-top cap with warm water and a suitable detergent to remove residues of the original product. Then thoroughly rinse the packaging with clean water so that no detergent residues remain. We then recommend disinfection using alcohol – use IPA 99% or 96% plant-based ethanol, which you apply by rinsing or spraying the interior and the surface. After disinfection, let the packaging air-dry in a clean environment.
Selection of the right packaging is supported by an extended filter in the individual packaging categories. After clicking on a specific category, you will find the filter at the top of the page, where you can sort the products according to several parameters – in particular by neck type and size, overall packaging size, colour and material. Thanks to this, you can easily choose a bottle, jar or medicine bottle and then assign compatible closures, pumps or sprayers according to your dosing requirements.
The plastic packaging is not intended for long-term exposure to high temperatures or for thermally demanding sterilisation procedures. Exposure to too high a temperature may lead to deformation of the bottle, deterioration of sealing, or changes in the mechanical properties of the plastic. Therefore, we do not recommend washing the bottle in a dishwasher or boiling it. For disinfection, give preference to gentle methods, such as treatment with IPA- or ethanol-based alcohol and drying at room temperature.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend that, after emptying and basic cleaning, you place it in sorted waste collection according to the material specified in the product parameters on the website. Before handing it over for collection, it is advisable to remove product residues from the bottle and the cap and to separate any paper or plastic labels, if required by local recycling rules. By correctly sorting the packaging, you help its recovery and reduce the amount of waste. If you have the possibility, first prefer repeated use and only then recycling.
