Glass bottle – medicine bottle with white glass and black spray pump represents a practical and elegant packaging for carefully formulated liquid preparations. The combination of high-quality glass and a functional spray pump enables precise and hygienic dosing, thanks to which the packaging is suitable for mild aqueous solutions, toners, serums or aromatic blends. The opaque white glass at the same time helps protect the contents from light and supports the stability of sensitive active ingredients during storage and use.
This glass bottle is supplied in combination with a spray pump, and all packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade.sk are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test – focusing on sealing, consistent dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation, especially for products with a higher content of alcohol, essential oils or active ingredients.

Glass is in general a very stable and inert material, therefore this bottle is also suitable for formulations containing alcohol or essential oils. It is nevertheless recommended to always carry out a trial filling in a smaller quantity and observe it for several days in order to verify the compatibility of the specific recipe with the spray pump, in particular with regard to the smooth action of the pump and sealing.
The bottle can be reused provided that strict hygiene rules are followed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, ideally using alcohol-based preparations such as, for example, IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Only after it is completely dry is the packaging ready for reuse with a new or the same formulation.
When cleaning, we recommend first rinsing the bottle with warm water and a suitable detergent or a mild cleaning agent intended for laboratory or cosmetic equipment. Subsequently, it is appropriate to rinse the packaging thoroughly with clean water, let it dry and, before a new filling, disinfect it with an alcoholic preparation. It is practical to flush the spray pump with the same solution that you plan to use, in order to verify its functionality and prevent clogging.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, its recycling according to the material composition given in the product parameters is recommended. After emptying and preliminary cleaning, place the glass bottle into the sorted glass collection according to local rules. The spray pump, which is composed of several plastic and metal components, is in most cases suitable to be placed in mixed waste or plastic waste, according to the recommendations of your collection company. Before handing it over for collection, it is appropriate to remove product residues in order to facilitate the recycling process.
