Glass bottle – dropper bottle is a universal packaging suitable for precise and hygienic dispensing of various liquid and partially viscous formulations. The smooth surface allows for easy labelling with stickers and professional presentation of the product. Thanks to the stable glass, the bottle is suitable for filling cosmetic, pharmaceutical and technical solutions that require reliable protection and controlled use.
Glass is a chemically resistant and long-term stable material that minimizes interactions between the contents and the packaging, thereby helping to preserve the properties, fragrance and colour of the product. The bottle is ideal where precise application, the possibility of using droppers, pipettes or other dosing closures, and a professional appearance of the final packaging are important.
Individual glass bottles – dropper bottles – are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray heads or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected for the product. Combinations of packaging and closures that have been created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the glass bottle can be safely reused if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned, dried and subsequently disinfected with a suitable preparation, for example with isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and undesirable changes in the quality of the product.
Before the first filling, we recommend mechanically rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning solution, rinsing it thoroughly with clean water and allowing it to dry completely. It is then advisable to disinfect the inner surface with an alcohol-based preparation (ALK001 / ALK002) according to your internal hygiene practice. Only after the alcohol has completely evaporated and the packaging has dried is the bottle ready for filling.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is recommended to recycle it according to the type of material specified in the product parameters. Glass bottles are usually placed in the container designated for glass. Before disposal, it is advisable to remove any product residues and separate any closure made of another material (plastic, metal), which is recycled separately according to local waste-sorting rules.
The easiest way to find the packaging is by using the advanced filter located in the upper part of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. You can filter by neck type, size, colour and material, which allows you to quickly select bottles, dropper bottles, jars or closures that best correspond to your product and method of application.
The choice of closure depends on the consistency and the way the product is used. For very liquid solutions and serums, droppers or pipette closures are often used, which allow dropwise dosing. Fine spray heads are suitable for toners and sprays, while special applicators may be suitable for targeted local application. When choosing, we recommend testing sealing, dosing and user comfort with your specific formulation.
Glass dropper bottles are generally suitable for storing many concentrated active substances, since glass has good chemical resistance and stability. However, we always recommend checking the compatibility of the specific raw material with the packaging and choosing a suitable type of closure that ensures sufficient sealing and, if necessary, protection against excessive air access.
