Thanks to the high‑quality glass body and the practical cap with safety lock, this bottle is suitable for cosmetic, pharmaceutical and artisan products that require stable packaging and protection against unintended opening during storage or transport.
Glass is a proven and long‑term stable packaging material that minimises interaction with the contents and is ideal for packing various liquids, serums, tinctures or solutions. The safety lock cap helps prevent accidental opening and leakage of the product, which you will appreciate both in professional sales and in small‑batch home production.
This glass bottle is a stand‑alone packaging that is compatible with various types of closures and dosing options according to the parameters selected in the e‑shop. In practice, it can be combined for example with screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators that help tailor the dosing to the specific type of product.
The packaging and closure combinations that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure the packaging works reliably with your particular product.

Before starting filling, we recommend familiarising yourself with the packaging documentation and adapting the method of filling, storage and transport to the character of your formulation, in order to ensure maximum stability and long‑term product quality.
Yes, the bottle can be used repeatedly within your own production or for test batches, provided hygienic principles are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and subsequently disinfected with a suitable product, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. This minimises the risk of microbial contamination and impact on the stability of the newly filled product.
First, we recommend mechanically cleaning the packaging from residues of the previous filling and rinsing it with a suitable cleaning solution or warm water with detergent (if this is compatible with the product used). After thorough rinsing with clean water, allow the glass medicine bottle and the cap to dry completely. Subsequently, obligatory disinfection of the inner surfaces of the packaging with alcohol is required, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. Only after the disinfectant has completely evaporated is the bottle ready for new filling.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is appropriate to place it in sorted collection according to the material specified in the product parameters. The glass body of the bottle, after removal of product residues, is sorted into the appropriate glass container. The cap made of plastic or composite material must be sorted according to local rules, ideally separately from the glass, so that the recycling process is as efficient as possible. Always follow the recycling symbols and the recommendations in the parameter table for the specific product on the Handymade website.
This glass bottle is optimal for low‑ to medium‑viscosity liquids, such as serums, solutions, drops, light oil blends or tinctures. Thanks to the precise closure with safety lock, it is also suitable for formulations where safe storage and protection against unintended opening are important. For very thick creams or gels, a jar or another type of container may be more practical, so we recommend adapting the choice of packaging to the consistency of the product.
