FAQ – Most frequently asked questions

Can this glass bottle with nasal spray be reused?

The bottle can be reused provided you observe basic hygiene principles and monitor the condition of the sprayer mechanism. Before each new filling, the packaging including all parts must be carefully cleaned and disinfected. For disinfection we recommend using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based, and refilling the packaging only after they have completely evaporated and dried.

How should the bottle and nasal sprayer be properly cleaned before further use?

First empty the bottle and rinse it with a suitable cleaning agent and water, making sure that no residues of the original product remain inside. Then rinse the individual parts of the packaging with drinking water and allow them to dry thoroughly. Before reuse, we recommend disinfecting the inside of the bottle as well as the parts of the sprayer using alcohol (for example IPA or ethanol from the Handymade range), removing any excess, allowing it to evaporate and only then filling the container with a new solution.

How can this packaging be safely disposed of and recycled if I do not want to use it further?

If you decide not to reuse the bottle with nasal spray, we recommend recycling it according to the types of materials used, as stated in the product parameters. The glass part should, after emptying and basic rinsing, be placed in the glass recycling container. The plastic components of the nasal sprayer and any other plastic parts must be separated from the glass and sorted into the appropriate plastic collection according to local rules. Always remove any remaining contents before sorting in order to facilitate the recycling process.

For what type of products is the nasal sprayer most suitable?

The nasal sprayer is intended primarily for liquid solutions with low viscosity that need to be applied as a fine mist into the nasal cavity. These are mainly hydrating and caring solutions, mineral and herbal blends, or aromatic formulations adapted for nasal application. For thicker or oily preparations it is always necessary to verify the functionality of the spray with a test batch, so that you can be sure of smooth spraying.
