Plastic bottle cap, black is a reliable screw closure made of HDPE, designed for firm and secure closing of compatible bottles. It is suitable for cosmetic, food and technical products where simple and stable closure of the packaging is important.

Combining with closures and dispensers

The closure is intended to be combined with bottles with a compatible thread according to the chosen parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dispensing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

FAQ – Most frequent questions

Is this closure also suitable for food products?

Yes. The material meets food-grade quality, therefore the closure is also suitable for closing containers with liquid food supplements, tinctures or extracts intended for internal use.

How can I find out whether the closure will fit my bottle?

The decisive factor is the match of the thread/neck according to the product parameters. If you combine the closure with different packaging, we recommend carrying out a fit and sealing test before filling the final product.

Is it possible to use the closure repeatedly?

Yes, the closure can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are followed. Before further use it needs to be cleaned and disinfected (ALK001 / ALK002), for example using IPA 99% (isopropyl alcohol) or ethanol 96% (denatured, plant-based). Then let the closure dry completely.

How to safely dispose of and recycle the closure?

If you decide not to reuse the closure, we recommend recycling it. Remove product residues, rinse if necessary and sort it into the collection of plastics (HDPE) according to the rules in your municipality.
